CONTINGENCY-BASED POSITIONS

Contract Specialist
Location: Moody AFB Valdosta, GA

Candidate will provide support to the contracting office at Moody Air
Force Base. In addition, responsibilities may include preparing
solicitation packages, supporting source selection activities and all
related contract administration support up to and including contract
closeout. In this role, you must prepare reports to include status of
awards and delivery, provide support and requisite documentation
for management of existing contracts, task orders and
modifications, negotiations, awards and closeouts. You may also
assist in competitive award planning and execution, market
research, cost/price analysis, establishment of negotiation
positions, conducting and development of full documentation of
negotiations (i.e. pre-negotiation and post-negotiation
memorandums), as well as provide support to post award tasks
including analyzing open orders, ratifications and maintenance of
contract files.

Qualifications:
• DAWIA Level I or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting
(FAC-C)
Level I and CFCM/CPCM certification REQUIRED.
• 1+ years of contracting experience in a Federal or DOD contracting
environment.
• Superior communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast
paced environment.
• Working knowledge of the FAR.
• Working knowledge IDIQ, BPA and FFP contract types.

This Contract Position is for Six Months to One Year. A High
performer may be hired directly following contract completion
